Petoskey Holiday Open House is Dec. 4 with steel drums and live music, followed by Holiday Date Night Dec. 11 and Home for the Holidays Dec. 18
PETOSKEY, Mich. — Downtown Petoskey’s biggest holiday night is Friday, Dec. 4, when streets close for the Holiday Open House from 6 to 9 p.m., according to Downtown Petoskey.
Holiday Open House, Dec. 4. The evening includes holiday decor, the Petoskey High School Steel Drum Band and live music from Laura Crowe, the organizers say. The downtown Social District will be open, which lets adults carry drinks bought from participating licensed businesses in marked cups within the district’s boundaries.
Holiday Date Night, Dec. 11, 3-9 p.m. Participating shops stay open late for couples’ shopping and dinner.
Home for the Holidays, Dec. 18, 5-8 p.m. A final evening event before Christmas.
Tips. Street closures for the open house mean more walking; park early in city lots and dress for the cold. Event details can change with weather, so check Downtown Petoskey’s calendar before heading out.
Earlier. The season starts with Ladies Opening Night on Nov. 20 and the Holiday Parade on Nov. 28.
