Holland’s RollXscape Skating Center on James Street will close Nov. 14 after its lease ends and the building is sold
HOLLAND, Mich. — RollXscape Skating Center, the roller rink at 12521 James St., will close for good on Saturday, Nov. 14, according to an announcement reported by Rink Report.
The rink’s lease has ended and the building is being sold, and the owners said buying it is not affordable, Rink Report said. RollXscape plans to keep its normal schedule, including birthday parties and private rentals, through the final day.
The rink has operated under other names over the years, including The Rink and Grand Roller Rink.
Last skates. Public session times and admission are posted on RollXscape’s schedule page. Families who want one more skate have about three and a half weeks, including the Halloween and Veterans Day weekends.
The announcement did not say who is buying the building or what it will become.
