TROY, Mich. — Troy Historic Village runs its family-friendly Trick-or-Treat: Under the Sea program on Friday, Oct. 23, from 5 to 8 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 24, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Village says on its event page.

Advance registration gets early access at 4 p.m. Friday or 10 a.m. Saturday. Advance tickets are $5 for Troy Historical Society members and $9 for non-members; door prices are $7 and $10. Children under 2 are free. Advance registration closes Thursday, Oct. 22, at noon.

Families move through ocean-themed games, activities and a craft while collecting candy and trinkets, including teal-pumpkin options at each stop. The Village says most groups spend about an hour to two hours on site. The event is rain or shine, with indoor and outdoor stops, and is described as friendly rather than scary.

Genisys Credit Union sponsors the program and supplies one treat bag per family. Service animals are welcome; other pets are not. The Village is at 60 W. Wattles Road at Livernois. Overflow parking is directed to Brookfield Academy when the Village lots fill.
