Kingsley Stags stay undefeated, beat Boyne City 55-12 in Week 7
UP NORTH — Kingsley is still perfect. The Stags moved to 6-0 after a forfeit win over Cheboygan on Friday, MaxPreps reported, and was set to host Boyne City on Friday, Oct. 9.
MaxPreps said Kingsley has averaged 38.0 points per game across its winning streak. The Associated Press Division 6 poll on Oct. 6 listed Kingsley No. 3 behind Jackson Lumen Christi and Almont.
MHSAA.com’s northern Lower Peninsula review highlighted Petoskey’s 42-21 win over Gaylord as the Big North headliner, with Cadillac still tied for second — the broader Up North race running through more than one league.
Traverse City West took a 52-24 loss to Midland Dow that cost the Titans their first league defeat, MHSAA.com noted, another October result for fans following Grand Traverse-area scores.
