Things to do in Jenison Oct. 23–24: two trunk-or-treats and an Ernie Haase & Signature Sound concert
JENISON, Mich. — Halloween weekend comes a week early in Georgetown Township, with two free trunk-or-treats and a ticketed concert on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 23 and 24.
Library Fall Fest. The Georgetown Township Public Library, 1525 Baldwin St., teams up with neighboring Ridgewood CRC for Fall Fest from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23. Games, crafts, pumpkin decorating and the library’s annual trunk-or-treat are planned, according to the library’s calendar. The library asks families to park next door at Holy Cross Lutheran Church. The program is for children with an adult along; drop-offs aren’t allowed.
Concert. The same night, Sacred Sound Concerts brings Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, with the Skylight Quartet, to the Jenison Center for the Arts auditorium, 8386 20th Ave., at 7 p.m., the center’s online box office shows. That listing doesn’t show ticket prices; the box office can be reached at 616-667-3602 or BoxOffice@jpsonline.org.
Church trunk-or-treat. Jenison Christian Church, 7003 28th Ave. in Hudsonville, holds a free trunk-or-treat from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, according to a listing on WCSG’s community calendar. The church plans popcorn and cider at its welcome table while supplies last, plus crates of free pumpkins for families to take home.
Check with the organizers before you go for any changes in timing or weather plans.
