MUSKEGON, Mich. — Muskegon High School’s football team takes a 3-4 record on the road Friday night to face Grand Rapids Union in an Ottawa-Kent Conference Green Division game, according to MaxPreps schedules for both schools.

Kickoff is listed for 7 p.m. Oct. 16 at Union. The Big Reds are 2-2 in league play and sit third in the OK Green after a 44-21 home loss to Mona Shores on Oct. 9. That defeat ended a one-game win streak that had followed a 30-7 victory over Forest Hills Northern.

Union enters at 1-6 overall and 0-4 in the division, with six straight losses since an opening win over Ottawa Hills. Recent league results include a 56-0 loss at Byron Center and a 35-6 defeat at Reeths-Puffer, MaxPreps shows.

Muskegon’s earlier OK Green results this season include wins over Reeths-Puffer (45-14) and Forest Hills Northern, plus losses at Byron Center and to Mona Shores. A win Friday would put the Big Reds back at .500 before a non-league trip to Clarkston on Oct. 23.

MaxPreps last updated Muskegon’s schedule early Wednesday morning. Confirm the site and broadcast options with the schools if kickoff details change.
