Unity Christian takes a 4-3 record to winless Wyoming in OK Gold play Friday

HUDSONVILLE, Mich. — Unity Christian looks to bounce back on the road Friday night against an Ottawa-Kent Gold opponent that has yet to win a game.

The Crusaders (4-3 overall, 2-2 OK Gold) visit Wyoming (0-7, 0-4) at 7 p.m. Friday at Wyoming High School, 1350 Prairie Parkway SW, according to MaxPreps. Unity Christian is third in the OK Gold; Wyoming is sixth.

Unity Christian’s last outing was a 36-0 home loss to Zeeland West on Oct. 9, MaxPreps shows. Before that, the Crusaders beat Forest Hills Central 51-37 on Oct. 2 and UPSM 56-6 on Sept. 25. Their other league results include a 50-22 win at Zeeland East on Sept. 11 and a 34-33 loss to South Christian on Sept. 18.

Wyoming has dropped all seven games, allowing 333 points while scoring 40, according to MaxPreps. Recent league losses include 55-0 at Zeeland East on Oct. 9, 49-8 at South Christian on Oct. 2 and 42-6 against Forest Hills Central on Sept. 25.

After Friday, Unity Christian travels to Portland on Oct. 23. Wyoming hosts Hart the same night, MaxPreps lists.
