Bloomfield Hills beats Troy 54-28; the Colts remain winless
TROY, Mich. — Troy High was searching for traction in the Oakland Activities Association after a difficult Week 6. MaxPreps listed a 49-7 loss to Lake Orion and a Friday trip to Bloomfield Hills on Oct. 9.
The NFHS Network also listed Troy’s varsity date at Bloomfield Hills, giving Colts fans a clear Week 7 target after the Lake Orion setback.
Troy Athens, the city’s other public program, opened its season with a 35-0 rivalry win over Troy High on Sept. 18, MaxPreps reported at the time — a reminder that city bragging rights already changed hands once this fall.
With Selection Sunday on Oct. 25, both Troy programs were playing for playoff points and pride in the OAA. MHSAA.com’s statewide Week 6 review showed how quickly October results can move field positions across metro Detroit.
Updated Oct. 12, 2026: Bloomfield Hills beat Troy 54-28, MaxPreps results show. Troy is 0-7 and 0-3 in the OAA White. Bloomfield Hills is 3-4. Troy Athens beat Bloomfield Hills 53-14 on Oct. 2 and lost 34-14 at Rochester on Oct. 9. Also changed the Lake Orion score to the conventional winner-first order (49-7). Records above are as of the week of the games.
